[resolved] Make slider images proportional, cropped, instead of distorted? (3 posts)

    Is it possible to make it so the slider images are left in their original proportions, just cropped? The stretched out images look bad, and it would be inconvenient to make them the exact right size every time.

    I solved the image proportion problem by adding this to CSS:

    #slider .lof-slidecontent .slider-image {
    width: 630px;
    height: auto;
    }

    There's also the problem of the thumbnails not displaying properly on top of the slider. The background for the thumbnails wasn't showing, nor the the previous and next arrows. I was able to partially solve this by adding some z-index statements to CSS, however, the arrows still don't show up.

    Also, the arrow function seem to be backwards. You hit the one on the right, expecting it to advance an image, but it goes backward, and vice-versa.

    Another small thing, the 'play' and 'pause' button in the upper-right corner also needed a z-index to bring it up to the top, and the 'play' button has a white spec on it, from improper layering on the s-play.png image. I fixed it on mine, but the developer may want to look at that.

    Any help on bringing the arrows to the front would be helpful.

    Thank you!

    Ok, turns out the arrows needed a full http address pointing to them in CSS, since the install is not in the root directory. So this one is resolved.

    I do think the fixes I implemented need to be incorporated in the next release of this theme, unless something I did screwed it up in the first place, but I don't think so.

    Anyway, great theme, thanks!
