   Hi there,
   i have created a template and now looking for an option to make home.php my default start page, without using the Settings -> Reading -> “Front page display” ->“A static page”. There has to be another way, because a lot of templates have different start pages without the need for first configuring that option under Settings.

   does your home.php not get automatically applied?

   Thanks a lot. I didn't know that strukture. My problem is solved :)
