   Im using this template (http://wordpress.site5.net/boldy/doc/)
   and I made a new tab called Home page but its different to the generic homepage when you first visit the site.

   This is my first wordpress site so im very novice. I cant find the generic home page in the 'pages' menu. I would like to have a tab that can take people back to the home page.

   can anyone help please. thanks. mile

   The home page of your website isn't a wordpress "page".
   What you can do is add a link or create a header which links to your homepage.

   ive inserted a logo which links to the generic home page. How do i create a tab called "home" and link the generic home page to that?

   its the same template im using. They have made "home" tab the same as the logo link. They both go the the generic home page. I want the same.

   On your Admin page, click on MENUS. You'll see your navigation tabs there. You can create new tabs there, or you can customize the tabs that are already there. If there's a HOME tab already there, click on CUSTOM and enter the address (URL) of the home page.
