   Not sure if this is possible but I have a client who wants certain sidebar text widgets to be an entire link. In other words, not just does the text link to something (which it already does) but the entire widget itself must link to the page in question. I'm not sure if there's a plugin or some scripting method to do this. Mind you, not all widgets will need this functionality. Only certain ones. Any ideas?

   Wrap everything in <a href="">widget code</a>.

   But how to do it greatly depends on your theme and what widget type it is.

   It's based on Twenty Twelve and it's the text widgets. But again, not all text widgets need links and each widget's link is different.
