   Hi,
   This is a desperate call to the WordPress community. I have a blog which I want to make private for registered users only. I have been looking for hours on end to find some suitable plug-ins for WordPress 3.1. Most of them don't work, are too simple or are just plain complicated. My blog is part of my website. The website is visible to everyone but once you hit my blog-link I want a screen popping up that's asking for a password.
   These are the functions I am looking for:
   -A new user must be able to register
   -An automated email will then be send to administrator waiting approval
   -Once approved an automated email will be send to new user
   -New user must be able to develop own password
   -Cooky planted so no need for login for subsequent pages
   -Customizable login form with captcha
   -Statistics and see who is online.
   It would be ideal if my blog had login capabilities such as in Buddypres or Simple Machine Forum without going into complexity of multiple contributors for the blog.
   I am sure there must be more people like me who have little knowledge of PHP and who are after a secure login page to make their blog private.
   I have tried over 30 plug-ins available for WordPress. The one I liked most: Register Plus, doesn't work at all.
   I am prepared to pay for some good code.
