Ok, I have Theme Alley pro for my site foundation. My site is http://www.buellreview.com I had a major problem when my site went live and my dashboard Main sidebar control panel completely disappeared. Under the advice of one of WordPress techs, tskk, who is also the developer of Theme Alley, I copied an additional wordpress 3.5.1 onto my server under a different directory. My first site is building traffic, but it’s only been up for a couple of days. I can’t modify or delete the widgets from my original site and I have no idea how this happened. My question now, should I purge the entire corrupted first site and make the second one live? I will lose everything, but I’m not making another move until I get more info. Switching my site to Twenty Twelve and everything is working like it should be, it’s just when I go back to theme alley that I have problems. I posted this because the first thread I started on this is rather long, 84 posts under WordPress Widgets by Mrbenz7.

Because if this above situation is what I’m up against, I’d rather do it sooner than later.

why can’t you edit your widgets on your original site?

you should speak again to the theme author for support if you have purchased it – assuming this based on a ‘pro theme’.
