   Here's what I've been doing so far. It has worked every time previous to this and also this morning.

   Creating a page. So i create my page and save it. I go back into "manage pages" to start adding content. The first thing i do is click on "add media" to add a photo.

   Now normally, the page would open up and I would click on the "browse" button to browse on my computer for the picture I want.

   It has stopped doing this as of this morning. It doesn't come up with the browser box anymore (or it does appear but for a few seconds only) - it just says "choose files to upload" "After a file has been uploaded, you can add titles and descriptions."

   Nothing happens if you click on "choose files to upload" Nothing at all.

   I'm very confused by this - and it's vital to my site that I can upload photos.

   Any ideas?

   Have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

   queen_sheba: Did you recently upgrade Flash on your computer?

   The old version of the uploader is not compatible with Flash 10, you'll have to upgrade WordPress itself to get the newer version for that.

   I was having the same problem. It was the wp-amazon plugin - once I deactivated that everything started working again.
