.maintenance is created again after I delete it

    Hi,

    I have got a frustrating problem with the maintenance mode. I keep deleting the .maintenance file and after a few minutes it appears again and my website goes to maintenance mode and can’t be accessed (until I delete the file again). I have disabled the plugins but it keeps doing it. I am not upgrading or updating anything when it happens.

    I tried to change the file instead of deleting it but after a few minutes it is replaced with the original file.

    Any help anyone?
