Thank you for developing a great theme! Love all the customization options. Is there a way to change the “main content background” to an image instead of just a color?

You’re very welcome. A little tricky but I’ve seen some people do that but you would have to do some custom css for adding a background to the container. IF doing that, use the child theme that comes with the the theme or use a plugin that lets you modify and create custom CSS

Thanks for the quick reply! I really only want to add it to a couple of pages, not the whole website. I’m a newbie at this CSS stuff, so if it’s “a little tricky” may have to go another route. Thanks.

well it could be a learning experience and you could do it for specific pages because if you look at the source code of each page, the <body> tag has a page ID which you can use to target with CSS. But it would take some Google searches to learn how to do that, or post in the public forums here at wordpress how to create custom backgrounds for specific pages with CSS. This will pretty much be the same kind of thing with any theme you use.
