Support » Fixing WordPress » Main Column Width?

  • Hey all
I’m using WordPress for my blog, and it’s really great, and stunningly functional.
I have a problem though. I am using an altered “Dark City 10” theme. I tried to include avatars into the blog titles. Because it would always show the avatar, and then the Blog title under the avatar (not next to it), I momentarily solved the problem by inlcuding a HTML table (1 column: avatar, 1 column: Title/Author, 1 column: Category and Date).
I tried to adjust the table width and page width (also used a different title background pic with a width of around 630px) and now suddenly, the width is stuck to around 450px, making the bg_title.gif look cropped and not leaving a lot of space for the blog text.
How can I change the middle column’s ultimate width??

Please see http://hot.sinister.ch to see what I mean (The page is still being built, it’s all being tested).

    Thanks!!

Oh and by the way, since the blog text exceeded the title’s width after I applied a table to the title, I put the blog text in a table as well (I guess it looks pretty weird on IE now :P). Both are 630px in width.

    Please help!
