  • I think your site was created for Adsense. After all, every “entry” you have posted, a quick check in google of the first sentence or two turns up the original site or review that you lifted your entries from.

Not much of a blog when none of the content is your own, more of a splog really, which is unfortunate, because you have a good domain name, and because you give bloggers a bad name. I find your handle even more ironic in light of this.

I know, it’s easy to make a quick buck or two off of a made-for-adsense site, but to be honest, if you actually developed it with your own content, rather than ripping off other sites, you could have something that might do well over the long term (of course, I don’t need to be lecturing a “problogger” and so I’ll shut up).

These are the first sentences of your last five “entries”, in case anybody wants to google them and see for themselves.

“Come one, come all and witness the incredible shrinking iPod”
“Witness the evolution of the revolution. First it played songs. Then photos”
“Holiday parties, winter getaways and family gatherings bring with them great photo opportunities”
“LaCie silverscreen is a USB hard drive that also plugs into TVs, VCRs, cable boxes or satellite tuners…”
“Each Canon Digital IXUS is a statement in style, and the Digital IXUS 750is no exception.”

I guess I should have waited until I had a few more of my articles posted.

I plan to post a product article a day along side my own articles and links to Mac related sites.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I’d just get rid of the google ads your probably making nothing off them anyway, then you can have a more attractive blog.

Thank you all for the tips so far.

I just wanted to let everyone know that the live search is now working. Check it out as it is a really cool looking feature. Just like spotlight in OS X Tiger.

If you’re going to use articles written by other people, you might want to provide the authors name and a link to the page you got it from. It’s only fair. I’d even go as far as to put the article in quotes.

I’m not sure what the copyright laws say in canada, but where I’m from it’s not even legal to repost entire articles or other pieces of text without the permission of the owner of it.

That being said, it looks pretty sweet and you’ve got a good domain name.

Is anyone else showing that the tablewide is broke (top right)? I have had a user let me know that the layout is screwed.

It seems to work on my side. I am using Safari and firefox. Anyone using IE and having problems?

    Any ideas?
