• Just bought a new macbook air, tried running new versions of safari and chrome, but still can’t see the visual editor for pages or posts. Which I need as I don’t do html.
Everything works fine on my PC using explorer, but I want to ditch the pc and just use MAC. So bummed out, this is only snag I have had switching to MAC. Here is my site

  • There aren’t any known Mac issues – I use a MBA all the time.

Try clearing any caching on your site – looks like you have a plugin. If that doesn’t work, try deactivating all plugins temporarily to see if any are causing that.

Thanks, I am trying that now, still why would everything work perfect on PC, but not in MAC?

No way to know that until you figure it out by process of elimination. One other thing – go to your user profile in the dashboard and make sure that the visual editor is not turned off.

Are you running the latest versions of Safari and Chrome? There were issues with TinyMCE (the visual editor that wordpress uses) on macbook air about a year ago, and browser updates generally solved the problem.

I deactivated everything, and it’s working now, then reactivated all but one. Works now. Thanks, still can’t figure out why it worked with PC.

Cool – things like that can be weird. I’ve never had any issues with my MBA – but generally only use Firefox – except for testing in other browsers.
