   Hi chaps,

   Is there a way, with any hack or plugin, to turn off WP's insistance on putting <P> tags in whenever there is a new line ?

   I do a lot of php code work in WP static pages and the constant <P> tags that WP puts in at the least throw the layout off, and at worst, when doing javascript, break the code completely.

   I'm using wp-advanced-editor at the mo, but I've tried several editor plugins and have also turned off the wysiwyg editor in WP.
