[resolved] Lovin' it - but conflict with WP-Print? (16 posts)

For an image-heavy website like my own, this plugin is incredible. Thank you so much for making it available.

But unfortunately I've run into a small snag. It appears that Lazy Load doesn't play well with WP-Print (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-print/). You can see this here:

    http://www.orlandoinformer.com/universal/hard-rock-hotel-orlando-dining-lounges/printpage/

    Here's the original page:

    http://www.orlandoinformer.com/universal/hard-rock-hotel-orlando-dining-lounges/

Please note that the "Print Me" button is hidden unless you're signed into my site.

Could this be an easy fix?

    No ideas then?

PS. I had to uninstall the plugin because of the issue, so the link above will seem to work fine now.

I have no idea what the WP-Print plugin is doing or why anyone would want a plugin like that. Use CSS instead.

For those of us who aren't programmers, the plugin works extremely well for easily creating print friendly versions of pages.

I provided the links above to show exactly what the plugin does, so I'm unsure why it is a mystery to you.

I just reinstalled BJ Lazy Load so you can see how the images that appear on the regular page:

Don't appear when WP-Print creates the print friendly version of the page:

Sorry for sounding so harsh :-)

From the little I've seen, it looks like that plugin does a few things it shouldn't.

So not something you can easily fix, or I can easily fix?

Should be fixed in version 0.6.4 released just now.

Please let me know if this removed the issue for you.

    Not for me :(

Do you see images when you click this link:

    ?

You are using W3 Total Cache and from the looks of the src (which might be cached) it doesn't look like you have updated the plugin.

    1. If you haven't updated the plugin, do that first.
    2. Empty the page cache.
    3. Working now?

I have W3 Total Cache installed, but I only use it to handle my CDN - the caching function isn't enabled.

So I'm afraid that's not it. But I'm curious - do you see images when you click on that link? If you do, that would just give me some hope that a solution is close!

Your page src doesn't agree: http://cl.arach.no/image/1G053l070r3L

Are you sure you don't have some sort of full page caching installed?

That is very surprising to me. Well, let me look into it and I'll get back to you.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Oh, that is awesome!

Thank you so, so much for your help. I had lost hope for a while there.

If you're ever in Orlando and you need some vacation planning assistance, let me know :)
