Hi, your photo gallery plugin is fantastic. The “settings” section gave me all the flexibility you promised. I especially like the widgets you have developed (ie “TopTen” and “Slideshow”. The thing that made me choose you over all the others was the nice “ratings” and “comments” for each image in a gallery.

Meanwhile, I’m trying to set the “Link Type” in Table VI Links…for those thumbnails from the sidebar widgets…to point towards that image’s slideshow…but they don’t seem to be working.

I have tried the different options in Table VI, 3&4.

I would LIKE to go with this setting: “the full size photo in a slidehow”, but when I choose this options, a click on the image simply initiates a redirect of the homepage.

For “TopTenWidget”, the “lightbox” and “the plain photo (file)” options work…but I would like to use “the full size photo in a slideshow”…which doesn’t work (it refreshes the homepage).

For “SlideWidget”, only “the plain photo (file)” works…but the “in slideshow” option only refreshes the home page.

I want them to open in slideshow, so that the “ratings” and “comments” are available when someone clicks on the image…

Anything I can do to make these images open in the slideshow? Here is full URL of the link, with the parameters: http://sidingphotos.com/?album=0&photo=2&topten=6&occur=1. I’m using plugin version 4.0.7

The link should link to anything (page or post) that does an wppa+ invocation.

For thumbnails that appear in a post or page this can be the post or page itsself.

Fot links from a widget, you should provide a ‘target page’ wherin the slidshow is to be displayed.

The easiest and recommended way to do so is as follows:

Create a page in wp, preferrably using a page template for a wide column, i.e. without sidebars. (You can select – and change later if you wish – the template for the page in the right hand sidebar of the edit page wp admin screen).

Name the page Photo Album or anything you like.
    Give it the content:

    %%wppa%%

    and save it.

Now go to the wppa+ Settings page, and select Photo Album as being the page to link to in Table VI item 3,4.

That is the way it works.

Wow! That worked…exactly as you said. Very impressive. You clearly know what you are doing and are extremely responsive. Many props to you. Thank you.

I have a similar problem. However, I just want to click one a thumbnail or a photo and have it go to the address that I specifically put in the “Link url:” box. However, when I go to The Photo Albums Table VI and select “PS Overrule”, it still just links to the picture in it’s own window. Please help

Are you sure you checked the right PS Overrule?
I checked it and it works as it should.
Pls supply a link to show me the problem

Here is a link to my test page:
    http://mywebspokesperson.com/?page_id=93&wppa-album=1&wppa-photo=17&wppa-occur=1

I put the following link in the box of the model named “Zen” (brown haired girl in the blue jean jacket with a brown scarf):

    http://mywebspokesperson.com/MWS/Spokespersons-Receive.php?Spokesperson=ZenG

Admittedly, I did not know which PS Overrule to check . . . so, I spent hours checking the Thumbnails, Top Ten . . . and so on (one at a time, then trying combinations).

I just want to be able to click on the picture of each model and have it go to their respective page. Any help you can provide would be FANTASTIC. Thank you.

Clicking on the filmstrip always brings you to the clicked image.
You mixed up between thumbnails and filmstrip images.

In this page PS overrule on thumbnails (Table VI item 2) will work.

BTW you should set column width to 550 (Table I item 1)
