And I am unable to create a ticket in the NinjaFirewall Help Desk AND emails to contact@nintech.net bounce back as failed messages.

So, here’s the problem I am having:

My log is not running and it doesn’t show any activity or history.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still get the following message at the Debugging Mode monitor: Firewall protection > Debugging mode: Enabled Warning: your site is not protected !

This is a great plugin, but I can’t tell if the problem is that it’s 3/31 and the log says April or what. How do I know this is working or broken?

    Hi,

It bounced back because it is @nintechnet.com, not @nintech.net.

You have the Debugging mode enabled, you need to turn it off:
Firewall Options > Debugging mode > Disabled

Regarding the log, it is rotated every 1st day of the month. Yours was just rotated and the new one (April) is still empty.
You can try to log out of WP admin console, then go to: http://your_blog.com/index.php?test=hack%00

You should be blocked and the event should have been written to the firewall log.

Ah. I see. I guess that makes sense.

Have you thought about letting your report be based on the last month if your report throws a 0% because the next month is the day after today?

Well, either way, this makes sense and I appreciate the response.

We implemented a similar feature in the new commercial edition of NinjaFirewall (see here, scroll down to screenshots, then click on the “Firewall Log” one).
We will add the same “Viewing” drop-down list to the free edition of NF soon too.
