I'm designing a page. I want to put a <br /> in the text. I put it in the html editor and it worked fine: switched back to visual and there's my break - great!
Update page - line break removed. Is it me or just WordPress being WordPress?

Never switch back and forth between the visual and html editors because it will mess up your code. Use only one editor or the other, and if you want to preview your post with the html editor, use the preview button (it won't touch your code).
