   My mother seems to have been fiddling with my blog and website, I have lost the blog and the ability to log into WP admin. I have tried to revert but cannot. Will my host be able to recover my site through their meta data? It seems to be my last hope. Moral of the story...Don't let your mother play with technology. any advice/feedback appreciated. Thanks.

   Possibly. What you probably need is a DB restore.

   Can you get to your database still via PHPMyAdmin?

   It doesn't recognize me any more. I cannot so much as log in. And my host still have not got back to me. Thank you for replying. I need all the help I can get at the moment.

   Yeah, go kick your host. You need to check the DATABASE for starters :)

   I mean, we have ways to recover your admin password: http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password

   But first let's make sure your DB is cool.

   Finally had a response from the host - it may take between 24 and 48 hrs before someone is able to assist due to the high volume of tickets. I e-mailed back that they can reduce the queue, as I want to take advantage of the 100% guarantee 30 day money back offer if they cannot attend to my urgent problem urgently.
