Wow – that’s distressing! There is no reason I can think of for that to happen with a simple upgrade to 1.13. Can you give me more details? If you want to send more information offline, send me your e-mail address and I will reply with an e-mail address you can use to reach me. Go to the “Contact Us” page at our web site:

Anything involving data loss is a critical issue and I want to resolve it as soon as possible. Thanks for any help you can give me!

I think it only reverted the most recently updated media. For example I had a tag called ‘kyle’ which I applied to half a dozen items. After updating, the tag had 0 attachments. I’m not 100% sure, but I think some categories were reverted too. Or maybe it was only media that had more than one tag. Unfortunately, that’s all I can tell you. It’s been a while since I last worked on this project.

I can’t think of any reason the tags would be lost, but I did find a fix errors in the “Attachments” column of the edit taxonomy screen(s), as reported in this topic:

Wrong number of attachments to a tag in Att. Tags view

If that’s your problem, the tag values should still show up in the tags column of the Media/Assistant submenu table and on the Edit Media screen for the attachment(s). Have the tag values gone from those screens as well? Have you done any other attachment editing, quick editing or bulk editing since the upgrade?

I also experienced the problem referred to in that topic you mentioned, but no, that’s not what I meant here. The tag values were actually missing in the MLA table. It’s possible that it’s something I did, and then forgot. If nobody else reports this issue, then I guess you can disregard it.

Thanks for your response and the further update. I’m going to mark this issue Resolved, but if you have any more information or any further trouble please let me know.
