Having just changed computer, I've lost the password to my site.
If I click the lost password thing and follow the link in the email I receive, though, I get an error message telling me:
"Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid."
Can i ever access my site again?
Try copying the url from your email and pasting it in the browser url field. If that doesn't work, then you may want to try resetting your password through phpMyAdmin...see the following video for step-by-step directions.
My script., emergency.php works with 2.7 just fine.

All you need is the ability to upload the file, and the name of the username you want to change (by defualt, the admin username is admin). It will also send you an email to the administrator's email address, telling you what youve changed the password to.
