Lost password form on main wp-login.php page
-
Hi all,
Im making some custom modifications of the s2member wp-login.php page. I want to have a form for forgotten password retrieval on the main login page at wp-login.php (ie not via link to wp-login.php?action=lostpassword). Im not very experienced with php so i tried simply copying the <form> used for password retrieval (that you would see at wp-login.pho?action=lostpassword) to just below the login form in the php file. The form does work and a password reset email is sent out. However, after submitting the ‘check your email’ message does not appear. And the page redirects to “http://www.mysite.com/wp/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mysite.com%2Fwp%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1”, rather than to “http://www.mysite.com/wp/wp-login.php?checkemail=confirm”, as would normally happen on submitting the lost password form. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? …and what changes i need to make to fix this?
Very many thanks in advance for any help.
