   I lost the password to my admin account, so I googled and found you can edit the database file for the user and change the MD5 value. I looked at the current value and it sure doesn't look MD5 to me. Can any one help me change or recover my admin account? BTW my reset password function does not work.

   Using that MD5 thing works for me at 2.9.1...see http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password#Through_phpMyAdmin

   Read and follow WordPress Backups and you won't ever have to worry ;)
