    Hi Pete
When a link is made by keywords ("amazon.xx/s?keywords="), a certain number of items related to these keywords are displayed. As soon as someone is going to click on one of these items, the affiliate number is no more added to the URL. Is Amazon not losing the affiliate id going to the linked page ?

    Cheers

    Hi Kab,

Could you post a link to an example on your site where this is happening and I can take a look?

    Thanks

    Pete

    Hi Pete

As I mentioned in my previous post, I uninstalled the plugin as I wanted to understand how it works.

Let me know if I'm right or not but when the research is based on keywords instead of ASIN numbers, the affiliate ID is sent by URL. But, as soon as you reach the result page on Amazon and click on a link, the next page won't get your ID?

    Cheers
    Kab

Ah, now I understand. No, your ID is only in the originating link, and then it's set in a cookie, so no longer needs to be in the URL.
