Oh, yes, and I even was charming… to no avail.
Hmm…
http://www.solo-technology.com/blog/?tag=beta+google
works on my blog. I appear to be a few versions of UTW behind though… I’m at 3.0.1 and running WP 2.0.4.
Just for grins, I’ll upgrade to the newest soon and see what happens.
Very interesting… I may not have gone back far enough into UTW of days gone by.
Well, I upgraded to latest/greatest. Still works…
So. Hmm. Now we wonder about your configuration.
Hmm, meanwhile I will try reverting to see if that works
Reversion to no avail. So it is my “configuration”. Should I suspect K2 or look somewhere else?
That’s a really good question. I’ve not played much with K2 — are you current with it?
Hopefully someone else will have some ideas, I’m not really sure where to look from here.
[edit] wait: this works – http://jcwinnie.biz/wordpress/index.php?tag=advocacy+environment
Ah, maybe this is the problem.
It is not searching for UTW Tags. I tried http://jcwinnie.biz/wordpress/index.php?tag=alcohol+waste
and got the same result as with
http://jcwinnie.biz/wordpress/?tag=alcohol+waste
and I know that I have a whole bunch of posts about cellulosic ethanol tagged with alcohol and waste
But your search gave results for category equal to advocacy or category equal to environment.
Believe me, there are many, many posts with the tag advocacy AND the tag environment, maybe 14 pages worth rather than two posts
Hm, I show 42 pages with tag=environment and 15 pages with tag=advocacy. Since most of AG advocacy is environmental, 14 pages was a good guess. Your search probably should have resulted in 15 pages of results.
Yes, am running the current version of k2. I also switched to another theme, Almost Spring, to ascertain that the problem persisted.
Ok, now the pain in the rear suggestion…
Disable other plugins. See if one of them is conflicting with your UTW.
Disabled all plug-ins used, except for UTW, without regaining previous multi-tag functionality.
I suspect it has something to do with the stripping of chararcters in functions.php, but disabling the one suspect statement failed to make a difference.
Are you running WP 2.04?
