   When I attempt to edit old posts or when I attempt to load image files I now receive this error:

   "You have recieved this message because the resource you have requested is not accessable by the webserver due to file permissions or other locking conditions. Please verify that you have access rights to the requested resource or that the Apache daemon has access rights to the requested resource before trying again."

   I can still write new posts, but can't post images.

   Any ideas what went wrong with the upgrade?

   Hi,

   Please repair the database or restore it from the backup...and check the database settings from wp-config.php of your wordpress blog.

   Thanks Shane,

   I've repaired the DB, restored it, and then finally overwrote the config file but I'm still getting a 403 error when attempting to upload images. I also cannot edit older posts.

   This all occurred since the upgrade btw

   The problem was the htaccess code. I added the disable mod line to it and it cleared up everything. thanks for your help. One less headache in the rearview mirror.
