I see Karim already helped you in the WordPress.com forums:

Yes but then I switched hosts from dreamhost to hostgator and I lost everything... I do not know how retrieve my lost followers or if it is even possible. I had no idea that switching hosts would delete my entire site and I would have to start from scratch again. I have added everything back but need help getting my followers back. should I post in the link you provided again?

If your domain name stays the same, you don't lose your followers. When your domain name changes, you may.

Install and setup Jetpack on ramblingsfromalipstickaddict.com and then they should be able to transfer your users, if they haven't already!

I had a look at your site, and Jetpack doesn't seem to be properly connected to WordPress.com at the moment. Could you go to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnect from WordPress.com thanks to the button in the top right corner? Once you have done so, reconnect to WordPress.com, and your stats and subscribers should be back under your account.

Let me know if it helps.

    Hi,

I am having the same problem :( I tried your suggestion by deactivating Jetpack and reinstalling it, but all the followers are still gone :(

I moved from WordPress to Justhost
    manilacitizen.wordpress.com to manila-citizen.com.

Also, my account seemed to have been merged?

Hope you can help me with this too :(

Oh, I didn't notice that (a common 'stupid' mistake). Sorry about that. Thanks Jeremy!

I already started my own topic here:

Ok, Today I realized I lost half of my followers over night. Which was about 2,000 people. I am sure it is a glitch, but just letting you know there is a problem.

    our blog is http://www.westjxn.com
