Lost all css (3 posts)

A blog I've recently taken over (part of a website in development) has just suddenly completely lost its (albeit default) "look" leaving nothing but barebones ugly text all across the page.

None of the files have been tampered with, other than my changing the name of the directory from /wp to /blog (which didn't make the style disappear - it stayed there for a couple of days after doing that.

What could have caused this and how do I fix it?

    Thanks for any help

I assume for a couple of days you were seeing cache.
Changing the folder'sname causes exactly what you described: losing the style because without changing previously the two URI values in admin > Options > General you cannot modify the WP install's location. The blog will look for the stylesheet at
    http://example.com/wp/wp-content/themes/default/style.css
    which is not true anymore.

Ah... many thanks. I guess I must have done this when I did it for another blog and didn't remember that I'd done that. Fixed now.
