   I recently started working at a company where they would like their webpage to be updated. Unfortuantely, I only have the hosting information and the files that are associated with the FTP manager. The webpage loads and is running, but no one knows the wordpress account that it is linked to. The one they thought it was is not the the right one.

   Keep in mind this is for the website, http://adventcapitalpartners.com not my personal WordPress Account that I am writing this from. Their company has a lot of email addresses, and I have tried entering a few into WordPress to see if they could recover the username/password without any luck.

   They use a theme purchased from ProPhotoBlogs.com and I do have all the coding files there. Is there a way that I can look up the username or email through the coding files? Or even the MySQL files?

   Kind of desperate for some ideas here, as nothing seems to be working! lol

   Jonas,

   Thanks for the link on this. I took a look at it but don't think that it actually applies. I don't have the username or email associated with the acccount to ask for the reset.

   Looking for the username or email that is associated with the domain is what I am having a problem finding. Once I find that I will do these steps to reset the password.

   Keep in mind that domain name registration and hosting are not the same thing.

   I only have the hosting information and the files that are associated with the FTP manager.

   That should be all you need for this. The FTP user name and password are usually the same as the hosting control panel user name and password. You can also get this info from your hosting tech support. From there you can reset your WordPress password with these instructions...
