shiznaughtHi all.. I'm looking for a theme would suit my site idea, and hopefully you have some friendly advice for me. Either a paid or a free theme is ok.
I'm looking for a theme with more of a magazine layout, that is, I still want my recent posts to be listed on the main page, but I'm looking for some extra features such as a featured or a random post up top (just like on http://allejo.com/). I'd also like each post to have a voting box, and have the ability to feature top ranked posts on the sidebar. This might be better accomplished by a plugin, I'm not sure.. I'd also like each post page to contain a section of related posts (sort of like the "Related Photos" in this theme - http://epicfailbook.com/Fail/photo/1786).
I know I'm asking for a lot of specifics, but perhaps some of you have come across a theme with some of these features, and I'll be happy to check out your suggestions. In case you're wonder, I'm working on a site called bookfail.com, which will feature books with funny, weird, or ridiculously titles (I have quite a list). It will be a lot like a photo blog, with a picture of the book cover, and a short description. My main goal is to get the visitor clicking through to check out more and more books.
Again, I'm looking for some friendly assistance, and if I end up using your theme, I'll be glad to add you to my blogroll..
