Hi all,
I already have the google sitemap plugin for generating xml - now I am looking for a plugin that will creat a traditional sitemap (page of links & descriptions to all my posts/pages).
Does such a plugin exist? Can't seem to find it in the codex...
Thanks!
It's in the Codex... under Odds & Ends -> Miscellaneous
http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins/Miscellaneous
Here's the entry and the url:
Google Sitemap Generator for WordPress (http://www.arnebrachhold.de/2005/06/05/google-sitemaps-generator-v2-final)
Generates a Google Sitemaps compliant sitemap of your blog.

Here is another sitemap plugin...
http://www.sidney.ws4f.us/tag/google
I don't know how they compare, but this one seems to work just fine.
Thanks for the responses guys! The problem is that I already have the google sitemap plugin...
What I am looking for is a sitemap plugin that generates an HTML sitemap. Any suggestions?
I'm looking for something like that too. It might not even require a plugin, I suppose. My intent is to have a static page which lists all of the posts on the site. Sorted by category would be an added bonus...

mda / as I see all have same brobs - google sitemap is working but regular sitemap no. I ask my programmer for make it asap. as variant some script for coverting googlesitemap xml to standart html format. as soon as have done it post link here
I personally use this one:
http://www.arnebrachhold.de/2005/06/05/google-sitemaps-generator-v2-final
It works well, easy to install, and does its job. I would definentely recommend this one.
I think he's NOT looking for a Google sitemap generator. He's looking for an old style HTML sitemap generator. That would make a sitemap like this one:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/sitemap.html
This may be what the OP is looking for: http://wp-plugins.net/index.php?id=525
Are you looking for something like this?
In my archives I provide 50 random articles. I can easily provide a plugin for something similar.
Are you sure you want to display all the posts, especially when you have few thousand posts?

Just saw this come across in the Plugins DB. From the description "Import your or others Googles sitemap.xml for a list af all posts and sites. You can format with css. You can create sitemap.xml with a Plugin for WP: Arne Brachhold (+ extra options: Sidney )"

I have a script that takes your existing Google compliant XML sitemap and turns it into a Yahoo compliant sitemap. It's free.

I've been using Dagon Design's sitemap generator with a good amound of success. Only had to modify it a bit to remove the forced CSS display in the <head> of all pages.
