Looking for Portfolio Plugin

    I wasn’t sure if this was the correct section to post this under, but I am having trouble finding a portfolio plugin that displays thumbnails of a “cover” image and then when you click it, it leads to a separate post that has project info and images instead of a slideshow or gallery.

    Why not just use an image thumbnail as a link to that post, without bothering using a plugin? Or am I missing something important?
