gmaddHi all, I've searched through the plugins and done a load of google searches but can't find what I'm looking for. I don't know if its out there - does anyone?
What I'm looking for is a posting plugin which provides similar functions to linkedin's "share an update" which includes add url, etc.

I love how with Linkedin that you can write a comment, add a URL and when you post it in your profile it pulls an imagine and copy of the website into your profile page. I want to be able to do this with my self hosted wordpress site posting with content from any site I find interesting and thus rapidly publish.
There are lots of plugins that allow me to write a post, add a photo, etc and push it or add a share button (i.e. AddThis, share, etc) so anyone can push it to facebook, linkedin, etc - this is not what I'm looking for.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
