Hey Gang
I'm assuming theres a plugin for this but don't know what its called. Presently my primary blog is http://sweetbike.org.
I'd like to create a Maps page and be able to post to it like I post to the front page. I'd like to do the same thing with Videos, and How-to's, and perhaps other topics as well.
Is this functionality I can find in a plugin, and if so, which one?
Thanks all
Scott
i have used geomashup and geo to specify what post came from what geographical region.
geomashup: http://www.cyberhobo.net/downloads/geo-mashup-plugin/
geo: http://asymptomatic.net/archives/2004/12/21/1188/geo-plugin/
but i can't remember what the second one was for. it's in my plugins folder, and it's activated, and it works :)
I don't think that's what the OP wants. He/she has the same mistaken belief as so many other novice users: wants posts on Pages. Wrong!
Use Category_Templates instead and forget the Pages. Pages are not meant to display multiple posts.
For excluding posts from the main/front page - use a plugin, like http://www.fidgeting.net/wordpress-plugins/ultimate-category-excluder/
I have discussed this common misconception recently in one of my blogs.
