   Hi everyone,

   I just added WordPress to my website. I currently have a blog on Blogger, but I am hoping to move it over to my own server so I can run my blog on there. I have worked with the bit of CSS that is on Blogger, but that is it. I do all the html .. etc on my site, but CSS is new for me so I am trying to get the hang of it.

   I'm not sure if there are any designers on here, but I could use someone to help me create a theme & get the hang of the program.

   My current blog is @ http://victoria-e.blogspot.com/ & my new one (on my own server) is @ http://victoria-e.com/wordpress

   You can easily see how they are different ...

   I'd suggest you look for a theme that already has most of the layout and typography that you want and then ask for help how to customize that with your images etc.

   I am willing to help you there if I can release it as a free theme for others to use. Otherwise, you could hire me...

   Hi Yngwin - that is a great suggestion! Do you have any suggestions for websites that have lots of different layouts? I'd be happy to hire you but money is tight right now while I am looking for an agency.

   If you click the Extend link at the top of this page, you can go to the Themes: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/
   and from there in the Resources you can check the Theme Viewer for example...
   http://themes.wordpress.net/theme-viewer.php

   Awesome - thank you for the link. I'm working on a custom layout for my new blog now, but I'm having an issue with lining up the sidebar & the main frame :/ Also, for some reason, the kubrick entry background isn't showing ... not sure what I did to loose that

   It seems that the main journal page is the only one having the kubrick image issue - all of the archive pages are ok ... now I'm even more confused
