• Hi all,

I am looking for a way to disable WP’s autop “feature” – with a catch I only want to disable it sometimes and only on pages, no posts. The disable autop plugin disables this in posts, where I want it.

I did also try remoing the filter in my page.php but I’m looking for something a little more customizable as I have already added several dozen pages which -do- rely on this feature and I don’t want to go back and add the paragraph tag to them all.

I know I could create new page templates for the pages which I specifically want to not have this feature turned on but I already am using several page templates to accomplish what I want to do and that would only complicate things.

Ideally, I would love a hack or plugin which would allow me to select whether I want to disable autop

Oops, didn’t mean to hit enter. LEt me finish this up..

I would want to be able to select whether to disable autop when creating/editing a page from within the dashboard. Does/can something like this exist?

Did you ever figure this out? It would be very useful.
