Looking for a way to allow new users to be default authors to speciic subdomains

Hey all,

I’m setting up a multisite portal with a number of different functions and I’m looking for a way to allow new users to automatically become authors to three separate subdomains. i.e. event scheduling, article posting..etc Is there a way to accomplish this and allow these “authors” to only be able to see and make posts from within the dashboards of these subdomains?

I would imagine that I also need to find a way to allow these new users to be users across the subdomains as well and then have them automatically be assigned the role of author. Am I making sense, or does this need clarification?
