   Hi everyone!

   I'm new to WordPress, and I could use some help :)

   What I'm trying to do is create a sidebar list, ideally with image thumbnails. Then, when you click on any item in the list, a lightbox/popup comes up which contains the relevant list item information (styled with html/css).

   So the list on the sidebar could be just headings, and popup would contain more information about the item (heading+content).

   What would be the easiest way to achieve this, while having it easy to update?
