   I'm new to WordPress and am looking for a very simple 2-column theme with a colored header. I have searched the themes here but am hoping that someone can suggest a good, easy to use and relatively problem free 2-column theme.

   The default twenty ten theme has these options, have a look at:

   Admin > Appearance > Header, here you can upload and change the header or set it to a color.

   Also:
   Admin > Appearance > Background, here you can change the body background color, or upload a background image!

   Thank you! I did look and it and agree. I also like 2010 Weaver, which is based on twenty ten but with some more features. Your advice is appreciated!
