Is there a Plug-in that can re-create the functionality in the WordPress Admin Menu:
* Widget - in the sidebar.
* Icons and text in a shaded fully-clickable region, with mouse-over hilighting.
* Accordion style animated drop-down.
It's exactly what my client is looking for, and I've not been able to find anything resembling it.
Sounds like you're talking about front-end editing, maybe? I almost never do that, but some people like it.

Also, many who use front-end editors are looking to limit permissions for certain (usually clueless) users. No idea if it does any of that.
