Looking for a plugin similar to tags or related posts, but a little different

I’m looking for a plugin that will link posts to other related posts, but only in the one direction. Think of it like this:

In category “Song Writers” is a post called “John Smith”. In a different category “Products” is a post called “Great Songs of the ’80s DVD”. This DVD contains a song that John Smith wrote. In the “John Smith” post, I’d like a section called “Writer on:” where a link to “Great Songs of the ’80s DVD” is located, plus a link to any other post that contains his work. Furthermore, I’d love to somehow enter the “relationship link” in the DVDs post so that when I add a new DVD, I can just add the relationship to all the writers in the one post rather than going to each one to add a link to the new CD. I don’t think I mind if it is a two-way link. My main goal is to not have to edit 20 posts in order to create the relationship between one DVD and 20 writers.

Any ideas how this can be done? Is there some plugin that does this already?
