I am looking for a claen and simple theme. Something like the current WordPress.org theme.
I have had a look at the majority of normal resources to try and find something.
I am open to any ideas and suggestions please.
Is the WordPress style available for download ?

Well for one thing, this post title shouldn't be posted like it is, because I was assuming you had either made a theme or were releasing a theme.. Another thing is, I highly doubt the WordPress theme is available for download. The last thing is, try looking for themes..

Go back to themes.wordpress.net and find the White As Milk theme. The font can be changed in CSS.

    Alternatively, look at Tiny.

    Drunkey Love is another possibilty.

and like V said, all clors and fonts can be changed via CSS.

Btw, there are so many themes out there that are not listed in the WordPress theme browser.Do a Google search at night for WordPress theme or themes and you'll be amazed at what you find.

Well if you’ve been through the usual routes already I know of any other “out of box themes, but there are some layouts that you can use off of this site:

Here are some nice simple ones I found there…

Kanku - Good set of themes there. I've been looking for a few theme options myself lately (including the development of my own, stifled (sp?) only by my time constraints; pesky real-life...) and yours are definitely nice and, yes, very simple.

    Very, very simple.

Glad you liked the plaintxt.org themes. If you liked my veryplaintxt theme, you might also considering using plaintxtBlog. It's clean, minimal, and is very flexible and easy to customize. Should be a good place to start.

Also you can try my new Simplr theme, which is, obviously, simple. Both the themes I mentioned above and Simplr are now WordPress 2.0+ specific and Widgets friendly.

And yet another theme: Barthelme. This is an Widgets-friendly, WordPress 2.0+ theme that has an academic feel.

http://www.semiologic.com/ is also simple and a neat theme. 2 column or 3 column. I am using the 3 column one on my blog.
