Longer Post ID#s

    Is it possible to tell WP to start Post ID numbers at a certain number, say 100,000. The reason I would like to do this is to have a unique ID that will remain six or seven digits in length for all posts.

    Think of this the way, Ebay has Item Numbers. Possible? Not sure how to do it and my searches came up empty.
