   Hey, the site I'm working on, http://www.blackjackapprenticeship.com, has been experiencing some funny problems lately. When we update widgets and such, there is a really long delay (sometimes hours) between when we make the change and when it takes effect. I'm somewhat new to WordPress, so I was wondering if you guys had any ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem?

   i have the same problem. can't figure it out, but it makes wordpress just about useless.

   Contact your hosts. This is a server or network issue - not a WordPress one.

   It actually turned out that the issue was being caused by a caching plugin we used. WP Super-cache, or some such.

   WP Super Cache>>Settings>>Advanced>>Tick the box that reads "Don’t cache pages for known users."

   Read the rest of the docs for the plugin to prevent caching for some objects and file types.
