Thanks for the suggestion, songdogtech. I cleaned it up and it validates, but it still didn’t fix the problem.
I also noticed that a post does the same thing the comments do when a long string of text is entered. Here’s an example:

Any other suggestions?
The containing div
of the post text called “storycontent” doesn’t exist in your stylesheet, so define it and it should work better. Probably the same thing with comments.

I recently integrated WordPress into an existing site design. I’m still testing it and one problem I see is when I have a long sentence or URL in a comment, it will go off the page in Firefox or will move the whole post below the sidebar in IE.
