Hi, I never used wordpress before and I am now trying to buil up my website. I installed Hatch and I created a child theme to make some changes. The question is: how can I replace the site title with my logo?
    Thank you!

Hatch has its own site title function, so you do not need to use CSS image replacement technique for doing that, just go to the theme settings and fill in the logo's url.

First you got to have your logo image uploaded, then get the url of that image, then fill that in the theme setting.

The width of the logo should not be more than 300px.
