My new website ascendberkeley.org is having a wierd issue that only appeared recently where when the logo is clicked instead of taking the user to the homepage directly, it loads slowly and then creates a popout homepage overlaying the current page. If anyone knows how to solve this your help would be greatly appreciated as I am not too familiar with coding.

Note: I’ve also realized that this happens when I click on the 1st image of the Meta Slider
