Customizr
[resolved] Logo and navbar position after Creating a column layout (8 posts)

    Hello,
    I have created a column layout in customizr following the snippet http://www.themesandco.com/snippet/creating-a-column-layout-in-customizr/
    I chose a 1/4 - 3/4 span, i.e.

    <div class="row-fluid">
    <div class="span3">...</div>
    <div class="span9">...</div>
    </div>

    The result looks nice but the logo and navbar which were previously aligned are not on the same line anymore. The logo is on the top left corner and the navbar + title menus are below on the right

    Somebody has already raised the issue that the use of .row-fluid to divide the contents in page-layout might lead to some side effects.
    I suppose that my problem is related

    Any suggestion for having simultaneously a specific column layout in some pages and keeping the logo and navbar box in line ?
    Thanks !

    Hi, can you please share a link to your website if it is not on a dev server?
    Thanks

    Hi @philippec2n, I cant reproduce this at my test site. Did you make changes in the header ?

    The link to the site is

    http://pages.ief.u-psud.fr/QDgroup/C2N/

    I have not made special changes in the header except that I have introduced a second line in the tagline (in the style.css in a child theme)
    The page layout was set for the "Actualit├ęs" page
    I would like the logo to stay in line with the navbar

    Thanks for your help

    Hi, this is due to a plugin (ready-backup) that adds some style on front-end (which shouldn't be the case by the way if it is a backup plugin).
    The workaround for that is to add this line of code in you custom css or your child theme stylesheet.

    .navbar-wrapper {
    clear: none;
    }

    Hope this helps and enjoy the theme!
    Cordialement ;-)

    You are great !

    I could not imagine that this could be an effect of the back-up plugin ....

    Thanks for your efforts and congratulations for the theme
