Login with Ajax automatically connecting with Mailchimp

    We have a newsletter sign-up widget on our site that is connected to our MailChimp list, which we love.

    My husband recently added the Login with Ajax widget for people to register for our site. There’s a checkbox in the message people get when they click ‘Register’ that allows them to also sign up for our newsletter. If they check the box, they get our opt-in email response from MailChimp. However, if they leave the box unchecked, they’re still getting the MailChimp email. Any thoughts?
