Am I allowed to edit the register/login script to my wordpress blog? I want to link the registration database with the blog one in order to allow users to login with their site account to the blog. Is such allowed? Thanks in advance, Paint.

Editing core files (i.e. the login php file itself) will make you cry later.
Am I right in assuming you're trying to combine an external user database with your wordpress one? Because if so, then it's possible to have single-sign-on with WP and other apps, but the how to depends on the apps involved. :)
And yeah, it's totally allowed!
