Login Page issue, random links on page (6 posts)

At some point during the design of my site and InFocus theme by themeforest I noticed links on the left of my login page. I've taken a screenshot at brianchalfin com/infocus.jpg or you can see for yourself at brianchalfin com/wp-admin

They are: expand, next, previous, close, 0/0 and next. They all link to "go to # on this page". It also effects the scrolling if you look at the scroll bar on the right. There's nothing down there and if you scroll down it becomes infinite and becomes a pain.

I can confirm it's not in the actual InFocus template files because I've reinstalled the InFocus theme and they still appear. However the links go away if I change to any other theme so it's definitely related to InFocus.

I've been able to trace the links back to prettyPhoto though I'm not sure what that is yet. In the source for my wp-admin (which is wp-login technically I guess) there's a line referencing '/wp-content/themes/infocus/lib/scripts/prettyPhoto/js/jquery.prettyPhoto.js?ver=3.1' as well. Within that js file is where the expand, next, previous, etc come from. I'm not sure how to get rid of it or why it's being referenced.

I've tried disabling all plugins with my current install but the links are still there. I've also tried reinstalling wordpress. I even created a new wordpress install separately, added InFocus with no plugins, and pointed it to my sql database and the links were there.

I created a new WP 3.1 install (with a automatic sql database creation) at brianchalfin com/test2/ and only installed the InFocus theme I got directly from themeforest. When I activated the theme, the links were at my login page.

I'm not even sure how's that even possible. Could it be somehow tied to my host or pulling settings from the install at the root of my domain?

I also have another domain (on the same host, a folder in the root like /test2/) with a fresh WP install and InFocus theme still results in the links.

It doesn't appear on any other page except when I try to log in, so no visitor will ever see it as I have registering off. It's there on PC or Mac regardless of the browser or OS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm having the same thing happen, but to a website running a different theme. navgs400, did you find out anything about this? Anyone?

    Thanks.

It turned out the issue was WordPress 3.1 and the template don't get along. I bumped it back down to 3.0.5 and the links went away. I tested it out on a temp install and it proved to be true. I tried other templates by the same designer and it also applied there as well.

Thanks much, I appreciate it. I've do have the Infocus theme on another site, and was about to upgrade to 3.1... won't be doing that today.

    Hello everyone,

You can fix this by updating the prettyPhoto scripts to the latest version. http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/.

@thinkwebcentric, this should fix your problem also regardless of which theme your using.

We have a support forum available on our main site so it would be best to ask your questions there, http://mysitemyway.com/support.
